Carolina Gómez, Director & Lead Teacher

Carolina Gómez-Kramer is a native of Colombia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Education with emphasis on English and Spanish from the Universidad del Valle.  She has taught languages to children for ten years in the United States (Wellesley, Chelsea and Boston Public Schools), Colombia and Guatemala.  She is also a member of MaFLA (Massachusetts Foreign Language Association) and a current candidate for the Masters in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University. She enjoys teaching children her language and exploring the vibrant cultures of Latin America in a fun way. She is the founder of 1-2-3 Spanish Together.

Dave Kramer, Operations Assistant

Dave Kramer helps keep 1-2-3 Spanish Together's files and finances in order, serves as a sounding board for Carolina's ideas, and edits program materials. He met Carolina while teaching in Colombia.  Like Carolina, he is determined to ensure that their daughter grows up bilingual and proud of her bicultural heritage, and he is happy to help others raise their children with foreign language exposure. His day job is with the  non-profit EcoLogic Development Fund, where he uses Spanish on a daily basis to communicate with Latin American staff and partners.
